And my red obsession continues...

Red is a color of many meanings, it can be used to express both love and danger with the same intensity. Subjective meanings apart, I suppose that we all agree that red makes a great presence in anyone's wardrobe, from a simple accessory detail to a whole ensemble. I particularly adore to see a little spot of red on a dark or light background, it's remarkable how that can change someone's entire look so easily. How lovely it is to wear red, however, it hasn't been always like that, not in History terms. In some societies, like the japanese one, the privilege of wearing red was reserved exclusively to the upper class, and that wasn't hundreds of years ago, it was actually a current rule until the first half of the 20th century. Nevertheless, common people didn't always care about rules and dared to wear red in the inside of their kimonos and sometimes they even wore red underwear. Luckily these days we're all free to wear the colors we please, and this set of very stylish ladies is definitely a great example of how to wear red.

Bom fds!

Hi Grinda, I was only searching for ladies in red hehe
:-p

The Clothes Horse: Love red tights!

Modern Marie, redheads are already so gifted with colour that I can imagine it's a little hard to put out a red outfit, but you should give it a try! ^^

I love bright red and black- or red and white- on other people. It always seems too bright on me. I feel like a walking billboard. I wear it only as an accent, like a bracelet, belt or brooch.
Red is a statement of self-confidence. That's why it's so hot.

ooo fab photos, i love red, for some reason i've never had the typical female reaction of aversion to it haha, you know the "omg! red is just too daring for me, black is always chic though, right?" i have red berets, flats, coats, bags, dresses....if you have the gumption to wear it, well then why not!? :)
