It snowed this tuesday! Ok, it wasn't that much and it melted quickly... but still... snow! I'm still wearing my winter coats and jackets. Two tights at once. Leather gloves early in the morning, and even in the afternoon if it's windy. The skin on my lips still cracks, lipbalms are very essential, indeed. I guess I'm just a silly foreigner. But I believe that only today I realized that spring is nothing but an undercovered winter. The days suddenly become longer, and one may hear that little bird from Hans Christian Andersen's The Top and Ball quite often, especially during sunny days. Yes, there are sunny days, luckily. I knoooow. I insisted on it being spring today so I wore a pink minidress. By the time my classes were done it was snowing. :(
Spring usually catches us by surprise every year. Last year, "proper snow" and "shorts weather" was only two weeks apart. Poof! Like magic!
I don't blame you on wanting summer. I used to love winter, but I'm sick and tired of this weather now. It's almost April and I'm still wearing wool!

It snowed two weeks ago and I just about died. It never snows that late in the year in Seattle!
I'm so sorry for you...I know that bad weather can get frustrating sometimes, but I'm sure that warmer days will come and you'll be able to wear some wonderful spring outfits.

I really hope the warm weather starts soon! It isn't snowing over here (it rarely snows here in the Netherlands, except for this winter), but it is raining the entire week already. I'm getting so sick and tired of it

Tahda, the scenes with the country side atmosphere are so pretty in this film! Here it's getting better too (maybe it'll be 15 C in the weekend), I can't wait for the real spring to come.
