the ugly duckling.

"But what did he see in the clear stream below? His own image; no longer a dark, gray bird, ugly and disagreeable to look at, but a graceful and beautiful swan."
I hope you will excuse the cliché quote, I couldn't avoid recalling H.C. Andersen the minute I took this picture, such a fortunate symbol of past, present and future, as if the new born could already perceive what its future will be like. This quote so well proves how sometimes we should listen little to what others tell us, as if there's anything wrong with being "dark and gray" at all. I suppose many know this already, but wouldn't the world be a more pleasant place to live in if we all could embrace diversity at once?
