Today we spent the day in Malmö, a sweedish city very close to Copenhagen, as you can get a train from the danish capital and arrive in Malmö thirty minutes later, which is very convenient. Malmö is not a big city, doesn't possess Copenhagen's charm and entertainting features, but you can also do a tour in the city canals, which is very likely to be done in CPH. Some of the buildings you can see during the tour in Malmö is the famous Turning Torso building, Europe's tallest residencial building, according to the information given by the tour guide. You may also see MalmöHus, a small castle from i'm not really sure what time.
In Malmö downtown, there is a pedestrian area, not as close to Strøget's size and diversity though. I don't know if it was a wrong impression of mine, but H&M seemed a lot more interesting in Malmö than in any other H&M store i have gone in any city in DK. Before today, i had never bought any garments i really liked on H&M. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact H&M is sweedish and i was in Malmö, or if it was just a coincidence. Another good thing is that danish currency is more worth it than sweedish one, so i ended up saving some money as well.
There's also a catholic church in the center, dated from 1600s, and as it was open i could not resist entering and taking a look at it. I really like visiting old churchs, there's always something beautiful in it. This one had something in particular, a small area for kids to sit, drewing and colouring. Some of the children's crafts were exposed on a wall, i found it sweet. Notice the brazilian flag one of them drew.
I think my fav pic of the day is the girl walking a cocker spaniel. The dog looks so cute inside the fountain and i love everything she's wearing: colours + just enough black. Very welcome when almost everyone is obssessed with the total black summer trend (is it a trend?). In general, women in Malmö differed a lot from CPH's style. In my observation, they tend to dress in a more pretensiousless and effortless way. I identify more with that thought for sure. I'm not saying they dress plainly and boring, on the contrary. They just seemed more girl next door, if you know what i mean, and this is a compliment. In CPH some women are more elaborate, less easy to get, and in a few cases, slightely snobbish. I feel so very plain in CPH sometimes:-p

I love all your photos! I felt almost like you were giving me a personal tour. You have a playful eye- posters, cars, gogs playing in fountains. Very cool.
I like visiting old churches too. More and more, in the United States anyway, churches are locked.
The exception is Hawaii, where almost all of the churches are small and open to visitors. The most beautiful hymns come from these churches too, a combination of Polynesian and Traditional hymns. One day, you have to see for yourself...
I meant, of course, DOGS (not gogs) in the above comment. I don't know what a gog is, but I'm sure it would bite me for laughing at it.
hey, 1st time over at yr blog and it's impressive! gave me an impression tt u were more into traveling than into fashion; are u a hospitality student too?

thanks for the comment! Some places in the Netherlands are beautiful.. however, many are just boring and all the same. Scandinavia looks great! Wish I'd go there any time soon ;)
Seraphine, don't worry, i had understood what you meant, you're funny hehehe Hawaii must be beautiful, and if i ever have the opportunity to go there i wouldn't miss these churches, then;-)
Hey Penelope, thank you for the visit! Maybe you're right on your observation, but i think it's because i never had travelled abroad before, and now that i'm doing it (though only in Denmark) everything is very new and exciting, very different from what i come from. And the world is so big and there's so much to see, it's just so wonderful. I'm not a hospitality student, though i'm a student, i'm taking a danish course for the next two years at least, since it's a required item in my adaptation process in DK, i moved here willing to settle down. Thanks for linking me;-)

Oi, Romeika!
Queria tanto adicionar outros links...

That residential building looks huge I'd love to live somewhere like that.
I've never lived near an H & m they've just started opening them in canada a couple of years ago. I'm moving to Toronto in a few months so I will finally have that luxury, I remember when I went to Paris you could not keep me out of there!
Felipe, obrigado! Adoro fotografar passaros.
Jennifer, it's a beautiful building, but it's like a fortune to live there, crazy! H&M is really nice and affordable, i like it a lot=)
thanks for yr comment!!
really?? i think it's due to d space constraints in the city tt lead to d building of such high towers. anyway, those brands; haha, u're right. those are more for my mom.. i prefer the livelier night markets to the huge malls whn shopping ovrseas, though.
as for the lily cole post:
yupp. same sentiments.diff mag tt changes my mind=p haha,
yupp d accessorize campaign was awesome!!!
as for liv tyler, u were right!!! it totally slipped my mind!! found in which Milo was in an animal babygro thing. totally cute! but too small to be put up here. i've updated tt post!!

You take such amazing pictures that I want to go to these places immediately! The canals look beautiful (and I really feel like seeing Harry Potter now).
re: I'm always surprised when I see men who look messy and badly dressed because you're right, it is much simpler for them to dress well...the hard part is looking as handsome as the models! =)
