This is Home

I'm finally posting some of the pictures I took during the three weeks I spent in Natal. It's funny how my view of things that once felt so ordinary changed to something special, like if I was rediscovering that same old landscape, the skylines and colours, as if I had seen them for the very first time.

Romeika, sou suspeita para falar, mas Natal é uma cidade belíssima! Interessante o que você diz no post, mas acho que isto deve acontecer com quem passa tanto tempo longe de casa. Acho que a gente deve aprender a valorizar o que tinha aqui....

Jayne, and some even dare to call it "winter":-)

Kamila, eu nao acho a cidade Natal de hj em dia em si bela (nem de Ponta Negra eu gosto), mas sim seus arredores, locais cercados por natureza, beleza natural, que deve ser preservada. O interior norte-rio-grandense tb eh especial.

Rebecca, I'm glad the photos made justice to this gorgeous blue sky.

Sebastian, thanks!

A very nice series, indeed! Sorry for my ignorance, but I would have never associated the images of camels to Brazil, this one really surprised me!
Also, I like the way the heat can be felt on these images!

Cheers

Grinda, no need to excuse, as camels and Brazil are not two words one uses together in the same sentence so often haha! The thing is, in my hometown, there's a beach (Genipabu) with white dunes that resemble a desert. Someone had the idea of bringing camels to the beach, so the tourists could go for a short camel ride... they even wear silly costumes rented at the place as you can see in the picture:-p

Cheers back!

Dani, hope you get to travel to Natal sometime! Have a great week too!

Sorry for the terribly late reply!
