sad.

It's depressing that now, the few cherry blossom trees no longer look that way. They took so long to bloom, but faded in such haste. Man, I hate the danish spring.

Piazza, Florence.

Piazza, Florence.
I'm one of those people who can't see a cute dog or cat without saying a friendly "hello". Both in Rome's and in Florence's piazzas, there were always such little fellows hanging alone, as if they were homeless, but not really. Sweet.

a pink summer day in september

One day in Rome we took a bus to Florence. The David statue was huger than I ever expected it to be, the Tuscan landscapes by the road through my window seat, so dreamy... and exquisite were the medieval towns on top of hills. Florence has more tourists than people who actually live there, always so crowded, so full of life. And this early september, although not summer anymore, it felt more like summer than any other real danish summer day...
