I love how Inez pulls off this oversized denim jacket she bought at Monki (can you believe it is a size XS?!?), with my height (162cm), I would look funny wearing it, but she makes it look so stylish.

when mom & dad looked cool.

Yesterday a friend and I talked about how we simply love old pictures of our parents, since their style was much cooler at that time... In our parents' case, late 70s, early 80s (which is still pretty much 70s when it comes to style). But during our childhood it came the 80s*, messing up with everything and today I always roll my eyes every time I see pictures of me as a child during 1986-1992...

*Though I know the 80's and early 90's are so back these days, and brainwashing even makes me think oversized jackets (I even bought one, vintage), shoulder pads, acid wash denim, studs, and wearing three watches and hundreds of golden bangles and rings in one single hand is cool.

This crazy bouffant hairdo has caught my eye in street style pictures. I love hair that makes a statement, and I love the "one just got out of an avant-garde fashion show" feeling. I really wanna find a vintage esque bathing suit, since it doesn't even need to be truly vintage. Retro, let's say. I don't like the idea of wearing anything lingerie-like if it's secondhand...

I'm loving the accessories in these street style pictures, they complete the outfit in such a creative way, no matter if it's cold or warm. It reminds me that dressing up should be about having fun in the first place! ^.^
